Apex Update - February 15, 2010

New - Apex Mountain Resort is currently open for the 2009/10 ski season.

Apex is currently running 4/4 lifts including Stock's Chair, Quickdraw and the T-Bar from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM daily. Currently there are 67/68 runs available to enjoy.

Over the last 7 days Apex has received 21cm (8.27") of new snow giving them a base of 195cm (76.97")

Apex Introduction

Apex Mountain Resort is one of the last ski destinations in British Columbia which riders still consider a local secret, where you can get away from crowded lift lines and spend more time on the slopes. With a diverse and challenging terrain Apex attracts intermediate to advanced skiers each looking to push thier own limits. The deep Okanagan powder is well worth the short 45 minute drive from Penticton.

Apex Directions

Get ready for some serious skiing and snowboarding at Apex Mountain Resort. Long considered one of the hidden gems of skiing in British Columbia, Apex brings a diverse terrain of deep white Okanagan Ski Powder that the whole family can enjoy.

Location
Apex Mountain Resort is located centrally in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada. It is easily accessible by both air and ground transportation, only 33 km (21 miles) west of Penticton, BC.

By Car
Apex Resort is easily accessed by major BC highways.
Take the Channel Parkway from the North or South of Penticton, then turn on to Green Mountain Rd and follow the Apex signs. Follow Green Mountain Road for approximately 22km.
Turn right at the Apex Guest Ranch (intersection) and drive another 11km to Apex. For winter driving conditions, check with the weather network for highway conditions.

By Air
A 35 minute drive from the Penticton Regional Airport makes Apex Mountain the closest Interior Ski Resort to an airport. Airport transfers and car rental packages provide several options for ground transportation between airports and the resort.
Flights into both Penticton and Kelowna are available through several airlines including West Jet, Air Canada and Horizon Air.
