What's New For 2011/12
- New High Speed Quad Chairlift Rose Bowl - The much-anticipated new Rose Bowl high speed quad chairlift delivers guests to the top of Chair 4 in just over five minutes. The new side-load Doppelmayr lift transports 2,400 skiers per hour and alleviates density on the Cinch Express Lift (Chair 8) and Centennial Express Lift (Chair 6), providing more miles during your ski day..
- Max 3 Coaching Clinics - Beaver Creek’s Adult Ski and Snowboard School offers new alpine custom coaching sessions geared towards skiers seeking to better navigate all kinds of mountain terrain. Lessons are offered all season from 12:45 to 3:45 p.m. each day only to strong intermediate to advanced alpine skiers with a maximum of three per group.
- New Talons Challenge for Kids Rounds Out Talons Weekend - Beaver Creek’s signature Talon’s Challenge event held March 3, 2012 tackles nearly 24,000 vertical and showcases the mountain’s toughest 13 black and double-black diamond runs in one day. Participants earn a spot on the electronic wall of fame at Red Tail Camp. Now kids can partake with the news Kids Talons Challenge March 4, 2012.
- EpicMix. Now with Photo - Starting mid-December, guests will be able to take their own photos or get their photos taken and combine them with their vertical feet, digital pins and memories of other special moments of their visit through the new EpicMix platform. Additionally EpicMix is expanding its program to nearly all guests this year through an upgrade to "smart" RF-enabled lift tickets.
- New Nordic Adventures - Known for its scenic 32km dedicated Nordic and Snowshoe track located at the top of Strawberry Park, Beaver Creek’s Nordic Center is offering three new products for 2011-2012. The new Snowshoe Fit Tours will focus on fitness and workouts at 10,000 feet. Families with kids ages 6 and up can enjoy new Guided Family Nature Tours in McCoy Park, exposing younger generations to the beauty of surrounding mountain peaks and also teaching them a fun, new outdoor sport. Finally the new 2011-2012 Nordic Adventure Pass is a three-day discounted pass that allows enthusiasts to mix and match cross country skiing, telemarking, nature snowshoe tours and the new Snowshoe Fit Tours.

| Appropriate for children aged two months to six years, Small World Playschool offers three different programs catering to specific age groups. Parents are asked to provide typical childcare necessities as well as a pair of shoes for indoor play. For children over 15 months, hot lunch and two snacks are also included. | |
