Kicking it into a league all of its own, the resort has decidedly remained true to its roots by continuing to offer its impressive mountain to skiers only. Snowboarders find themselves longing to explore the expansive 2,000 skiable acres and 99 marked runs that comprise this outstanding resort. The wide variety of terrain has great appeal amongst families by allowing easier transition between more challenging trails. Between Quincy’s Cabin and the extensive gladed area featured on Flagstaff Mountain, Deer Valley Resort promises the perfect vacation for all ages. For the more free-spirited skier, the Tricks ‘n Turns Park offers the ideal terrain for refining freestyle moves. To assist skiers with tracking their progress, Deer Valley is pleased to be one of the few North American destinations to offer the rental of the SlopeTracker GPS. Worn as an armband, this tracking device, weighing just three ounces, records such vital information as number of runs skied and distance and vertical feet traveled.

At the end of the day, after the 21 lifts stop running, Deer Valley Resort comes alive to host a myriad of après ski entertainment. From the fine wines and cocktails served at the Snow Park Lounge to a savory seafood buffet, chosen as one of America’s Top Restaurants by the Zagat Guide, visitors are certain to have their taste buds tantalized.

Deer Valley Activities

Dedicated to keeping its visitors happily entertained, Deer Valley Resort provides a lengthy list of activities certain to excite guests of all ages. From snowy adventures to peaceful interludes, Deer Valley Resort provides the perfect ingredients for a memorable ski vacation.

	Cross Country Skiing
	An excellent activity for all skill levels, cross country skiing provides extensive exercise while allowing its participants to appreciate the natural beauty around them. With backcountry ski tours and groomed track available, Deer Valley Resort is a Nordic-lovers dream realized.

	Day Spas
	Soothe tired muscles with a deep tissue massage or rejuvenate with the vibrant scents of essential oils. An afternoon visit to any Deer Valley day spa will complete the beautiful escape from the everyday.

	Dog Sledding
	A unique means for discovering the Uinta Mountains, visitors of all ages can experience the excitement of a dog sled tour. Pulled by a team of Siberian Huskies, each sled can hold as many three guests.

	First Tracks
	Deer Valley Resort visitors take to the slopes an hour ahead of schedule to tear up the groomed powder on this guided tour. This activity must be booked a minimum of ten days in advance and all participants are required to be of intermediate ski ability.

	Group Races
	Located on Bald Mountain and offering several different formats (dual slalom, giant slalom and NASTAR), guests can add excitement into their Deer Valley Resort vacation with a private race.

	Historic Main Street
	Originally put on the map for its mined treasures, Park City maintains its historic charm. Beautifully restored storefronts line Main Street, each offering the best in boutique shopping and international cuisine.

	Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides
	Guests cuddle up together under warm blankets while they journey through open meadows of deep powder aboard a classic horse drawn sleigh. Stunning scenery of frozen trees and white hills spread out in every direction, creating a magical landscape for all to appreciate.

	Hot Air Balloon Rides
	Guests of all ages can experience a breathtaking sunrise with this thrilling adventure tour, which soars a mile over the snowcapped Wasatch and Uinta Mountain ranges.

	NASTAR
	Known as the world’s largest recreational ski race program, NASTAR is a brilliant addition to Deer Valley Resort. Open daily throughout the duration of the winter season, this program provides guests of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to compete against one another.

	Snowmobiling
	Situated a ten minutes drive from Main Street, Garff Ranch is host to 7,000 acres of snowmobiling terrain for guests to explore. Participants must be a minimum of five years old and drivers must possess a valid license.
